The Vermont Symphony Orchestra plays Tomorrow | Ghadan

Touring with the wonderful Vermont Symphony Orchestra as a composer was an incredible experience and a great honour. My 'Tomorrow' (Ghadan) from 'The Storyteller Suite' sounded magical, as did the rest of the programme conducted by the stellar Anne Decker. The tour comprised of three concerts in three cities: The Barre Opera House in Barre, a sold-out show at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington, and a final concert at The Paramount Theatre in Rutland. Here are some photos, mainly from the Flynn, thanks to my friend Randal Pierce and photographer Brian Drourr. The photos from the Barre Opera House are courtesy of Dennis and Laurel Scannell.

Aubada & The Road to Jenin in Paris/Meudon

My Aubada, in a new orchestration for strings, piano, and two flutes, as well as my 'The Road to Jenin' from 'The Curve', in a strings and two flutes orchestration, were performed by the Syrian Expat Philharmonic Orchestra ensemble under the baton of Yazan Loujami and Falko Hönisch in Meudon, a suburb of Paris. This concert was made possible thanks to Musique Sans Frontieres. It was a pleasure to meet their team and the wonderful residents of Meudon. Below are a few photos from the rehearsals and the concert.
