Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) Grant for my new album, 'Soundtracks from Independent Arab

Thank you AFAC for helping me bring my new album, 'Original Soundtracks from Independent Arab Cinema' to life. Really excited about this upcoming journey! The project is a recording of a soundtrack album based on Suad Bushnaq’s original compositions for award-winning independent Arab films that explore issues of migration, identity, war, loss, home, family, and diaspora. The compositions blend Middle-Eastern maqam and rhythms with diverse musical genres and harmonic colors, in cinematic orchestrations that reflect the stories being told on screen and the universal human emotions connected to them.
